CREATING OUR CANDLES:
Our premium-grade candles are handmade in Australia, then decorated with a digitally produced image which is incorporated into the candle. This ensures there are no stickers to peel or lift and there is no acrylic glaze to chip or lift. The finish is a seamless blending of the image into the candle. Every care is taken in the production of our candles and naturally, being a handmade product, a small amount of irregularity is natural.
STORAGE
Keep candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight. Tissue paper is preferable to bubble wrap as wrap may leave a bubble pattern on the wax finish.
BURNING CANDLES
Candles can be relit many times but should be burned for as long as it takes to melt the full width of the candle top at every lighting to avoid forming holes and so ensure long term continued use. Before relighting, trim wicks to no more than 1cm.
The approximate burning times for our standard candle sizes are:
74mm x 250mm = 100 hours
54mm x 250mm = 40 hours
54mm x 150mm = 24 hours
These times are dependent on conditions.
SAFETY
Never leave candles burning unattended.
Do not leave burning candles in strong draughts or near flammable items eg. curtains.
Burn on a heatproof surface. Allow wax to solidify before moving to prevent burns.
